Everything Your Cargo Needs.
In Detail
The Services Behind the Mode.
Sea, air and land describe the route. FCL, RoRo, break bulk and warehousing describe how the cargo is loaded, handled and held along it — the choices underneath the mode that shape what a shipment costs and how it arrives. Each suits a different shape of cargo, and all of it runs on one contract, with one coordinator on the file.
FCL — Full Container Load
FCL means the container is booked for your cargo alone — sealed at origin and moving as a single unit, with no consolidation step and no other shipper's goods in the box. MASA manages the booking, the equipment and the routing. When it beats shared space, what the booking involves and how it is priced are covered on the sea freight page.
RoRo — Roll-on / Roll-off
RoRo moves cargo on its own wheels: vehicles and wheeled equipment are driven or towed onto the vessel rather than lifted into a container. Carriers set their own conditions for units shipped this way — whether the unit runs and can be driven on and off, fuel level, battery and personal effects. Those conditions vary by carrier and route, so send us the unit details with your enquiry. How we plan RoRo and heavy-lift moves.
Break Bulk
Break bulk is cargo loaded and discharged piece by piece — crated machinery, units on skids, oversized components — rather than sealed inside a container. Each piece is marked, tallied and lifted individually, so the securing plan and the lifting points matter as much as the rate. It is not the same thing as bulk cargo, which is loose homogeneous material poured into a ship's holds or pumped into its tanks. Project cargo and heavy lift.
Warehousing
Warehousing is the time cargo spends standing still, and it is usually what makes the rest of the plan work. Suppliers finish production on different days, vessels sail on fixed windows, and sites are not always ready to receive — so cargo is received, registered, held and then staged in loading order, with handling alongside it: palletizing, wrapping, marking and re-checking cartons, so the goods are prepared for the handling ahead of them. Storage terms are set with your quote rather than assumed, and one coordinator stays on the file while the cargo waits.
From Jordan to the World
Exports from Jordan.

The Capability Behind the Freight.
Our China warehouse operations are a dedicated MASA capability — supplier coordination, receiving, checking and consolidation before international shipping.
Choosing a Service
Which Service Fits Your Shipment.
Enquiries usually arrive as a question about price, when the real question is which service the cargo needs. Two decisions do most of the work: the mode that carries it, and the load type it travels as. Each branch links to the page that owns it.
Customs clearance sits underneath all of it rather than beside it: the mode and the load type change how an entry is prepared, not whether one is needed. These branches are not separate purchases — they are quoted on one file.
- The deadline sets the modeIf the delivery date can absorb a published sailing schedule, this is a sea freight enquiry. If the date is already committed to a customer, it is an air freight one. Send the required-by date.
- Regional and cross-border moves usually go by roadLand freight covers inland movement inside Jordan and cross-border trucking between regional markets, including the leg from the port to the delivery address. It is quoted per route, so send the pickup and delivery points.
- The volume sets the load typeUnder roughly a container's worth of cargo, this is an LCL enquiry; at or near a full box, an FCL one. A full container often wins before it is actually full, and gross weight can move that line.
- Several suppliers, one bookingIf the order comes from more than one factory in China, the shipment starts at the warehouse rather than at the port: parts arrive on their own schedules and leave as one consignment. Storage is quoted rather than assumed.
- Decide how much of the chain we carryDoor to door carries the whole chain to the final address under one contract. DDP goes further — import duties and taxes sit inside the agreed price. Our DDP service runs from China to Jordan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the USA.
- Cargo that does not fit a containerVehicles and wheeled units, oversized pieces and machinery moved piece by piece are planned separately from containerised freight. For wheeled units the carrier's acceptance conditions decide the plan; for lifted pieces, equipment and securing do.
Frequently Asked Questions.
Which shipping method should I choose?
Send the required-by date, the origin and destination, and the cargo dimensions and gross weight, and the mode follows from those three. Moves between markets in the region normally go by road; anything crossing an ocean is a sea or air question, and the deadline decides it. Where the choice is close we price both. We book from origins worldwide, so the answer is not limited to the lane you started with.
Do I need a full container or can I share one?
It depends on how much you are shipping. Below a container's worth, sharing space is normally the cheaper answer; at or close to a full box, a container of your own usually costs less than the shared rate for the same volume. Gross weight can bring that point forward. Send cubic metres and kilos and we price both — the sea freight page covers full containers, the LCL page covers shared space.
Do you handle customs clearance as well as freight?
Yes. In Jordan the entry is filed by our own licensed team, and export clearance in China is handled by our own China operations. Elsewhere clearance is coordinated through our verified agent network. It is prepared inside the same booking rather than arranged separately by you: documents are checked and the entry is built from the commercial invoice, the packing list and the classification they support, then reconciled against the bill of lading or air waybill. Clearance timing is decided by the authority, so we prepare what we control.
Can you pick up the cargo from my supplier in China?
Yes. Collection from the supplier's premises is part of the door-to-door service, and cargo from more than one supplier can be brought together into a single shipment at our China warehouse before it moves. Send the supplier's address, the carton count, and the dimensions and gross weight. Say which trade term you bought on, because it fixes three separate things: how far the supplier's costs run, where risk passes to you, and which side files the export declaration. Our import guide sets out what each term moves.
How do I export from Jordan?
Tell us the destination country, what the commodity is, and the cargo dimensions and gross weight. From those we confirm which mode serves that destination, what the export documentation will need, and the cost. Collection from your facility and the port or airport work sit inside the same booking. Exports are quoted per destination rather than off a list, because what a commodity needs in order to leave depends on where it is going.
