Free Tools

Shipping Tools and References.

Work out volume and chargeable weight, check what fits in a container and look up the terms on your paperwork, before you ask for a quote.

Cartons stacked at a warehouse loading dock

Most questions that slow a quote down have a fixed answer: how many cubic metres the cargo takes up, which container it needs, which side of the contract pays for each leg, and what a term on the bill of lading means. These tools answer them directly.

All of them are free, need no account, and explain where their figures come from. When you have a result, send it to us and we will quote against it.

Four Tools, One Shipment.

Use them in the order a shipment is planned: measure the cargo, choose the box, agree the terms, read the paperwork.

About the Tools.

Are these tools free to use?

Yes. All four are free and need no account or sign-up. The CBM calculator runs in your browser, and nothing you enter reaches us unless you press the WhatsApp button to send the result.

How accurate is the CBM calculator?

The volume and weight figures are exact arithmetic on the dimensions you enter. The container fill estimate uses practical usable capacities of about 28, 58 and 68 m³, so treat it as a planning figure: actual stowage depends on carton sizes, palletisation and cargo type.

Where do the container figures come from?

From the container specifications Hapag-Lloyd publishes for its fleet, checked on 13 October 2026, with one CMA CGM figure on max gross ratings. The source is linked under each table on the container dimensions page.

Can I get a quote from a calculator result?

Yes. The calculator's WhatsApp button sends the totals to our team, or you can send dimensions and weights through the contact page. A formal quote also depends on the route, the cargo and the Incoterm.
