The customs position
Transit is not importing in passing.
Import brings the cargo into the Jordanian market and duty is collected on it. Transit only passes it through: a different declaration, no Jordanian duty, and a guarantee that is only released when the consignment exits the crossing. That distinction is the reason this route exists at all.

Does the cargo enter the Jordanian market?
No. It passes through in transit on a different declaration, no Jordanian duty is collected on it, and the guarantee is only released when it exits the crossing.
Do you deliver to Baghdad or Erbil?
No. We deliver to the Karameh–Trebil crossing and hand over there. Clearance inside Iraq and the onward move are handled by the consignee or their agent.

Who posts the customs guarantee?

Yes. It arrives at Queen Alia Airport and continues by truck to the Karameh crossing under the same transit declaration.
