What is chargeable weight in air freight?
Airlines charge based on the greater of actual weight (kg) or volumetric weight (L x W x H in cm ÷ 6000). Bulky but light items are charged at their volumetric weight. We calculate chargeable weight and include it transparently in our quote.
Can you ship dangerous goods by air?
Yes — for IATA-classified dangerous goods (lithium batteries, chemicals, flammable liquids), we arrange the correct DG declaration, packaging, and airline approval. Not all airlines accept all DG classes; we advise on the correct routing.
